GLITTER GRAPES
•Told everybody that these were a secret and that they were sprinkled with Smitten dust, please no wisecracks. The majority of guesses to the secret behind what made these so scrumptious was koolaid and sugar, there were even questions on why they were so cold, were they frozen? These are totally awesome (well, hello 1986) and will please kids and adults alike. Served a big bowl to a group 85 6th graders, teachers and staff and they were gone in 5 min flat. Make them and thank me later =)
To feed a normal sized crew you will need a bunch of red or green grapes and a box or two the gelatin flavor of your choice. I used both red and green grapes and tried both lime and raspberry gelatin.
Make sure your grapes are well chilled in the fridge, warm just doesn’t have the same effect. Remove grapes from the stems and rinse off in a colander under cold water, let drain a bit. Put into a large bowl and sprinkle over half of the gelatin, stir with a spoon to coat. Add the rest of the gelatin and lightly stir again. Transfer to a clean bowl♥Enjoy
thank you for the idea Pure Sugar

I love the name of these! Growing up we’d always snack on frozen grapes, I have my little cousins coming over this weekend and they would absolutely LOVE these!

It’s so true we eat with our eyes first and these look so yummy. How simple but clever. I am hopping over from the Friday Shout out. I would love it if you visit (I am sharing an amazing give away today).
